League Standings: End of Round 1

Next week, our TopSpin teams shall start participating in the second round of games in the National League. After weeks of tournaments and training in both the single and doubles aspects of the sport, they are energised and determined to bring back their best to the tables.

All eleven teams have demonstrated great skill in the first round of games. TopSpin teams have dominated the top places across all divisions, with TopSpin TTA “Andro” at first place in the 1^st division promotion pool, Topspin TTA “Fraser” and TopSpin TTA “Hexer Dr.Clean” in first and second place in 2^nd division, Topspin TTA “Supercores” in first place of the 3^rd division promotion pool and TopSpin TTA “Skelton” close behind in 4^th place. TopSpin TTA “Beta” in 4^th division group A and TopSpin TTA “Novacell” in 4^th division group B are both currently in first place.

This next stage of the National League is crucial for our athletes as they will play against the top teams of each category, and must work to maintain their places in order to advance to a higher division in the next season. Our teams continue to train hard and form their strategies for the games, in order to put forward their best skills.

In the 4^th division, all five teams have secured a place in the promotion pool, giving great potential for the next season, where we might see more TopSpin teams rise to the 3^rd division. We shall also expect exciting matches between our own teams, particularly TopSpin TTA “Novacell”, “Rasanter”, “Beta”, “Kanter” and “Munro” in the 4^th division, as they face off each other in the coming weeks.

While most groups have secured their place in the promotion pool, TopSpin TTA “Roxon” will compete in the 1^st division relegation pool. They are training hard in order to maintain their place within the division, and are eager to compete against the other teams.

Expect more updates on our teams in the coming weeks, as the second round of games starts. Feel free to come support them during the games, at the University sports complex gym, on Mondays and Fridays, after 7 pm.
