National League Results Week 5

Topspin talent truly shone this week, with nearly every team that played against other academies registering a win! All are showing great dedication, not only showing up but dominating the national league throughout all the divisions. Let's get into a quick recap.

On Friday 14th, 3rd division Topspin Supercores got a 5-1 win against Alpha Youths, with some very intense matches that grabbed everybody's attention. Great endurance from Supercores' end, well done! Topspin Skelton was the only team that lost, playing against MITTC Tenergy. Although they lost, it ended with a super close doubles match and showed great talent.

Furthermore, in 4th division, two of our topspin teams played together in a derby. Topspin Beta ended up winning 5-1 against Topspin Munro. Topspin Rasanter brought in a perfect 6-0 win against MITTC Butterfly Mizuno, not losing a single set throughout the evening.

In first division, Topspin Roxon clinched an excellent 5-1 win against HITT Liebher. A great result! Topspin Andro also won 5-1 against Alpha Alberta Group, two impressive wins at the highest level of Maltese table tennis.

Over in second division, Topspin Fraser gained a perfect 6-0 win against HIIT Tibhar, showing off their skills and teamwork. Another win was secure by Topspin Hexer Dr. Clean against Alpha Knights Kitchen, 4-2. The athletes showed great performance under pressure here, an essential skill to win!

Last Friday, third division brought even more success. Topspin Supercores won 5-1 against MITTC Butterfly Super Chak with a few intense matches. Topspin Skelton also won 5-1 against Sharp Shot charges. Amazing performace from our athletes!

Finally, two derbies were held in the fourth division. Between Topspin Munro and Topspin Kanter, the latter secured the win at 6-0. A super close 4-3 match between Topspin Rasanter and Topspin Novcell ended up being won by Novacell. All teams played very well, whilst maintaining a friendly atmosphere. Lastly, Topspin Beta secured yet another 6-0 win, against MITTC Zyre.

Topspin is super proud of all of its athletes. Their performance is inspiring and a lesson to show how hard work truly pays off! Let's keep it going team!
