The latest TopSpin Ranking List has just been updated, and there have been some thrilling changes across all categories!
Some players made massive gains, climbing up the ranks, while others faced tough competition and dropped crucial positions. Let’s dive into the action and see who’s making waves in the TopSpin Community!
Elite Category – The Battle at the Top! 🏆
There’s a new name at the very top of the rankings! Ryan Tabone has reclaimed his throne from Luke Fenech, regaining the No. 1 spot and securing the title of TopSpin’s best – at least for now! Will he hold onto it, or is another twist coming soon? Time will tell!
Meanwhile, Nicholas Sciberras has made a strong statement, climbing two spots to overtake Alice Mariani and Matthew Attard, securing an impressive 5th place in the Elite Category. A remarkable move that puts him closer to the top contenders!
Gold Category – On the Rise! 💪
Some big movers in this category! Robert Attard and Karl Sawyer have powered their way up, securing 15th and 16th place respectively, pushing Liam Cini down two spots to 17th. This puts Cini dangerously close to dropping into the Silver Category—he’ll need to bounce back fast to stay in Gold!

Silver Category – Big Moves with Upcoming Potential! 🏆
One of the most exciting moves comes from Timothy Chetcuti, who took over the top spot of the Silver Category and is now knocking on the door of the Gold Category! With a two-place gain, he now sits at 19th place within the global TopSpin rankings, just a step away from a big promotion! However, his rise meant Spyros Stampoulis and Mattia Pace had to give way, dropping to 20th and 21st place respectively.
Juliet Penaranda also made a solid move in the Silver Category, jumping two places to 23rd.
Sandro Vella stunned everyone with a huge eight-place jump, earning a well-deserved promotion from Bronze A to Silver and securing 25th place.
Another notable move comes from Ahmed Elaskary, who jumped two places to 26th, moving from a risky relegation position to a more safe Silver Category spot.
On the other side of the rankings, Daniel Renaud suffered a significant drop due to injury, falling to 27th place, and now faces the threat of relegation to Bronze A. A tough break, but a comeback is always possible!
Finally, Julia Spiteri makes her entrance into Silver from Bronze A Category—she may be at the bottom spot (28th place) for now, but she’s definitely not out of the fight yet! With determination, she could turn this promotion into a permanent move.
Bronze A Category – Huge Gains & Promotions! 💥
Several athletes made impressive leaps in the Bronze A Category!
Christian Camilo, Dimitris Kotelis, and Beppe Dingli all secured a staggering 14-place gain, now sitting at 38th, 40th, and 42nd position respectively. What an incredible push up the rankings! 💪
Another major move comes from Jayden Camilleri, who jumped two spots to 29th place—one step away from Silver Category promotion. Could the next tournament be the one that finally seals the deal?
Meanwhile, Jacques Borg edged closer to the top of Bronze A, now at 31st place, while Michael Potros (34th), Luke Muscat (35th), and Carl Thorne (36th) also made solid gains, with three-position gains for Potros and four-position jumps for both Muscat and Thorne!
Ruby Jean Sammut advanced two places to 43rd place in the global TopSpin rankings, while Mason Mifsud took a small but important one-place gain to reach 45th place, keeping himself in the fight for a better ranking.
Bronze B Category – Big Moves at the Bottom! 🏓
Some incredible gains in the Bronze B Category! Zak Borg and Karim Kayir both climbed 10 places, now sitting at 52nd and 66th position in the global TopSpin rankings—a major boost!
At the top of Bronze B, Francesca Ferriggi and Mikael Tonna gained two places each, now at 48th and 49th place respectively—keeping their promotion hopes alive.
Meanwhile, Mireille Bonett and Steven Camilleri each jumped five places, now at 53rd and 58th place respectively, while Yan Camilleri moved up one place to 60th.
Rising steadily, Kai Law and Gregory Sciberras climbed two places each to reach 62nd and 63rd place respectively in the global TopSpin rankings, while Kyle Boyianzis made a solid four-place gain, reaching 68th place within the global TopSpin ranking list.
Finally, Cohen Vella showed determination by jumping five places to 69th place, proving that hard work pays off!
